Tonner 2005 Stroke of Midnight Sydney Cinderella doll GOWN ONLY AS IS
This 2005 Stroke of Midnight Sydney gown was obtained secondhand as part of a trade, and is a limited edition of 250. I have attempted to remove a stain from the skirt (which was there when I got the gown, the only reason I was able to land the dress at the time). A Modern Doll Collector’s Convention exclusive from 2005, the Stroke of Midnight gown fits the Standard-Bust AR, BW, or CB/NM body best, but I have also added pictures of how it fits the Small-Bust, Antoinette, and Teen bodies. The dress does have a few flaws– one of which is my fault, the ink stain on the skirt did not want to come out, though this is easily hidden in the folds of the skirt– but time has also tarnished and de-silvered the silver-lined beads on the bodice, and the elastic in the sleeves is going. However, the Cinderella-inspired gown is otherwise a glorious confection of silk chiffon and fantastic draping– if you don’t mind its flaws, or can touch them up yourself, it would be a fantastic addition to your doll’s wardrobe. Any stands, stools, or chairs are not included and are for photography purposes only– unless otherwise stated above. All items are from a smoke-free, cat-friendly home. Penelope and Theodore don’t specifically target the dolls, but they DO target flat surfaces, tall furniture, and whatever I’m doing that isn’t paying attention to them. And lavender T-strap high-heeled shoes. Bette has the pose-able high heel 16 inch Tyler Wentworth Foot size, for the shoes. Although the Shoes were still in a plastic bag, her SHOES are coming apart.
