After numerous unsuccessful tries with nineteen teens fashion, she ultimately settles on a tailored military uniform-like outfit made from a sturdy tweed wool flannel found in North England. The suit features a menswear-inspired jacket belted jacket with oversize pocket detailing. A crisp white cotton menswear shirt adds a freshness to the look and for a more kick-friendly line, she pairs the jacket with a mid-calf A-line skirt. Her hat, definitely inspired by mens haberdashery gives her an all-business look which is certainly enhanced with her bookish black round glasses. To keep her feet warm on the muddy streets of chilly London, she wears a pair of dark brown, lace-up boots with top-stitch detailing. A very smart look for a very smart woman! Custom Tonner Deja Vu 16 Poseable Doll. Debbie Harry of Blondie. With Custom Box and 4 Outfits. This is a Custom 16 tall doll of Debbie Harry, past and present lead singer of the legendary new wave group Blondie. This custom piece includes. 16 Deja Vu Tonner fully articulated doll body and resin Debbie Harry portrait head. Custom large black round base with U Shape support stand and Blondie logo. O utfit #1 – black faux leather pants, hand lettered yellow Andy Warhol BAD T-Shirt. Outfit #2 – nude tights, b lue checkered shirt/body suit, belt, r ed and purple jacket and skirt. Outfit #3 – magenta one piece jumpsuit. Outfit #4 – Red/white/blue Sailor Jumper. Pair of red shoes and pair of black strappy shoes compatible with all 4 outfits. Four sets of Tonner Deja Vu hands – standard, holding, graceful and fist – hands are easily removed/replaced by pulling out/pushing in. Sculpted hand held microphone that can be placed into the included holding hands. Colorful custom box with picture overlays and raised Blondie and Deborah Harry lettering. Maker’s signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity with hologram on the top of the box. Additional Tonner saddle style stand with smaller clear round display base – handy if display space is an issue. Custom made by a dedicated Debbie/Blondie fan. Smaller custom 10″ dolls by the same maker have been pictured in the Cathay Che Debbie Harry biography and also made an appearance in the 1999 “Blondie: Beneath The Bleach BBC video documentary, appearing roughly 35 minutes into the video (see last photo). Before the Blondie reunion in 1997, a half-a-dozen of the 10 dolls were made at Chris Stein’s request for Debbie and members of the soon-to-be-reunited group. Could the dolls have played a part in getting Blonde back together? Maybe not, but you never know! This is a Tonner outfit for the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. It also fits other Tyler-body Tonner dolls. This means the outfit was removed from the box tried on and set aside. The tights and earrings were never removed from the box until this post. I set it up as used, but in reality the item is new only it does not come with original packaging except for the tights and earrings. Comes from a smoke-free home.
