Purple Rain is an FAO Schwarz special edition 2008. Doll is in excellent condition, like new. I have not undressed her. She seems to have never been removed from box. Scarce Robert Tonner 1998 CU Lani Limited Edition of 160 Mint In Box
Many are from local Estate Sales / Thrift stores / Down-sizing / Moving sales. Pre-Owned items have been used to varying degrees & will have signs of this use. Elastic loses it’s stretch with age and Vintage Dolls may have loose stringing or need restringing. The pictures are part of the description. Non-smoking home, but items may have originally been from smoking homes. Limited Edition Robert Tonner Lani. She measures 19 inches. Her accessories have been put on, the lei, necklace, anklet & wristlet. Has her hang tag certifying her authenticity. Box shows slight wear. Lani is a scarce, hard to find jointed vinyl doll by Robert Tonner. Produced in 1998 for the Collectors’ United convention in Atlanta. There were only 160 made so she is a rare find. Lani is lovely with wonderful very long black hair. She has the classic Pacific Islander look with her coffee-colored skin tone and delightful tropical outfit of strapless tube top and matching long sarong-style skirt in a vivid red and multicolor floral print. She wears lovely satin strappy shoes and has a flower lei necklace with matching wristband, anklet, and flower in her hair. She also has a very long red and purple bead necklace.
