Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Vienna Waltz 16 Doll TW9103 CU SIGNED RARE
This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Vienna Waltz” doll, released in 2001 at the Nashville Collector’s United convention as a limited edition of just 350 pieces. It features Tyler in a resplendent 18th century inspired gown in a rich golden peach brocade. It’s accessorized by long satin opera gloves, delicate strappy sandals and a beaded necklace. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. This doll is in excellent condition and she has Robert Tonner’s signature in the middle of her lower back. The original crinoline is missing, and. Was replaced with one that is larger for that fairy tale ball gown look. The included crinoline is from the Scarlett O’Hara character outfit from the Franklin Mint. Up for sale this week is a lovely 17 inch limited edition doll by Robert Toner. Rose is in her original box and does not appear to have ever been removed or even displayed. I listed her as “used” since she was pre-owned, but the doll appears pristine. The box shows wear on the outside edges, but it’s done its job of protecting the doll. Tonner has long been known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Their outfits are the highest quality in design, material and construction. Tyler Wentworth was their most popular 16 fashion doll and has an extensive collection of clothing and accessories made of premium materials such as silk, linen and cashmere. This is the “Sketchbook Savvy” outfit, TW9305 released in 2003 as a convention exclusive at the New York Toy Fair. It’s a limited edition of just 750 pieces. It’s a casual knit ensemble, consisting of an embroidered skirt, top and cardigan with black heeled sandals. It’s accessorized by a wide brimmed black hat, stockings and a Tyler Wentworth bag. Outfit has never been removed from packaging. Clothing and accessories are complete and look clean and in new condition. Box has scuffs from storage. Some discoloration may be present on paper elements. Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.

Betsy and all box contents were never removed from the box. Brunette Betsy is 8-inches tall and she has blue sleep eyes. Her original hairnet was moved back so you can see her face. She is wearing a white Mouseketeer shirt and a light blue pleated skirt. She also has white sheer socks, undies and black Mary Jane shoes. This giftset comes with 2 Outfits. A yellow and orange gown with a white collar and white beads. Minnie Mouse red dress with white polka dots and yellow ribbon sash, white petticoat, black tights and a red matching hair bow. 2 different pairs of yellow shoes. As an adult collector, my dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house. Betsy, her outfits, and the box are in. Is based on 2 lbs.
