Tonner Parnilla Ghastly Costume Tagged Red Weekend at the Manor Jacket and Hat
Lovely rich red velvet coat and hat for Evangeline. Ruffles and beads along the front and a tassel in back. Hat is adorned with feathers and flowers. Fits the larger 18 – 18 1/2 dolls. Without paper work, box or shipper. Tagged and in good, lightly displayed condition. Fabric shows no signs of display soil. Feathers are a little bent. SIZE: for an 18 1/2 tall doll. Tonner Tyler Weekend in Washington DC Giftset Brunette 16 Doll TW9120 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Weekend in Washington DC” giftset, released in 2002 as a limited edition of just 250 pieces. It comes with the brunette version of the doll. The set includes a versatile array of outfit pieces in purple and black, as well as a white bodysuit to use as a top or foundation garment. There is a purple beaded knit top, a sheer white button up shirt, black faux leather pants with matching knee length skirt, and a fur trimmed belted coat. There is also a beautiful embroidered purple and black beaded gown with a large bow detail in the back (the White House Dinner dress) and the set is accessorized by black and purple heels, black clutch, black beaded necklace, and the simple black heels found on the doll. Outfit pieces have never been removed from the box. The doll’s hair is well styled and her clothing shows no signs of fading or damage. All pieces appear to be present. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage but is otherwise sturdy and in decent shape. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.

Tonner has long been known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Their outfits are the highest quality in design, material and construction. Tyler Wentworth was their most popular 16 fashion doll and has an extensive collection of clothing and accessories made of premium materials such as silk, linen and cashmere. This is the “Weekend Retreat” outfit, 20833 released in 2000. It’s a cozy cold weather outfit with a warm red hooded peacoat with a belt and black trim. Underneath is a cream cable knit sweater and classic regular fit blue jeans. It’s accessorized by a houndstooth tote style bag, black ankle boots with socks and a pair of sunglasses. Outfit has never been removed from packaging. Clothing and accessories are complete and look clean and in new condition. Box has scuffs from storage. Some discoloration may be present on paper elements. Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.

Robert Tonner Tyler “Weekend in Washington DC” gift set – Outfit Only. You are looking at a Robert Tonner Tyler “Weekend in Washington DC” gift set – Outfit Only. This outfit is in great excellent shape but has been removed from its original box. The wardrobe includes a a black faux leather skirt, black faux leather pants, a sheer long sleeved blouse of ivory organza with rhinestone buttons, a pale fuchsia sleeveless knitted top with black beading, and black strappy heels. There is also an elegant magenta silk gown with beaded black lace overlay and matching jet jewelry. NOTE: The evening gown was originally designed for a limited edition Tyler Wentworth doll titled “White House Dinner”. The gown required a very special hand-beaded black lace that ran out during production due to unforeseen production issues. As a result, less than a third of the edition could be made, making this one of the rarest line dolls in the Tyler Wentworth Collection. In order to meet the overwhelming demand for this design, the fabric was custom made and 6 months later, Tyler Wentworth was able to offer the dress in a special gift set called Weekend. This item is new and in mint condition. The box shows some wear, especially on the edges and corners. SMOKE AND ODOR FREE HOUSE. Most of our items are Vintage or used.
