Tonner Tyler 1/4 Holiday Gala Sydney Chase 16 Doll TW9215 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s Sydney Chase doll, part of the Tyler Wentworth series, the flagship 16 doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Holiday Gala” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 1000 pieces and a dealer exclusive. It features Sydney in a scarlet red ruched chiffon dress, with matching red heels and a rhinestone necklace. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. She’s a very photogenic doll and I had fun taking pictures of her before I put her away.

This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Party of the Season” doll, released in 1999 as a limited edition of 2500 pieces. It features Tyler in a striped spring green formal ensemble with gold lace overlay and trim. It’s accessorized by a rhinestone brooch and necklace, and strappy gold heels. I don’t believe she has ever been displayed. The doll’s hair is well styled and her clothing shows no signs of fading or damage. All pieces appear to be present. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage but is otherwise sturdy and in decent shape. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.

This is the “Embassy Dinner” Mei Li doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 2000 pieces. It features Mei Li in a brilliant green and gold brocade peekaboo back dress accessorized with a rhinestone studded belt, beaded necklace, and simple black shoes. She has a very stylish and timeless straight black bob and an elegant face makeup suitable for any occasion.

1997 First convention Llimited Edition Tonner 14 Betsy McCall Sailor doll for Modern Doll Convention. Very Hard to Find! SIGNED by ROBERT TONNER at this great convention in San Diego, 1997. Limited Edition of only 100 dolls. She is clean and smoke free. This is an early issue Betsy doll and like all the early dolls needed the rubber band stringing replaced. I sent her to the Tonner factory hospital to have her. She came back strung perfectly tight using a strong stringing elastic cord (not rubber bands like before). She solidly holds her poses. This is the “Madison Avenue Afternoon” giftset, released in 2002 as a limited edition of just 500 pieces. The doll includes four different outfits in warm orange, red and gold tones, allowing varying combinations of the pieces. It includes a silk body suit, a striped knit dress, a red coat, gold vest, red skirt, and orange pants. Accessories include a matching bag and strappy heels, with beaded jewelry, sunglasses and a gold belt. Outfit pieces have never been removed from the box. White Witch Narnia 16 Doll 2007 Tonner Convention Exclusive LE 250 NRFB SIGNED
Rare and hard to find signed doll. Never removed from box condition. Limited Edition of only 250 for the Tonner Fashion Fantasy Convention in 2007. She is signed by artist/creator Robert Tonner on the left side of her head behind the ears. Tonner Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe; 16″ Exclusive “The White Witch doll dressed in the detailed outfit from the movie. All original, never removed from box, smoke free. Comes with shipper and doll stand. Her eyes are painted blue and her long blonde hair is styled in dreadlocks. Her crown is still all wrapped up. And is attached to the box side, so I don’t know what it looks like. Long white faux fur wrap with dangling white fur strips. Long white/blue dress with white lace overlay and lace applique trim.
