Tonner Tyler Wentworth Florentine 2002 LE1500 16 Doll TW1201
Tonner’s Florentine from the Tyler Wentworth collection is an exceptionally striking 2002 limited-edition fashion doll, produced in an edition of 1,500. At approximately 16 tall, she features the classic Tyler Wentworth sculpt on the Tyler Original/BA body with a tan skintone, painted brown eyes, and rooted brown/red hair. Her hair deserves special attention. Florentine has an extraordinary abundance of tightly arranged curls with beautiful depth and warm reddish-brown highlights. The dramatic hairstyle creates a luxurious frame around her face and is one of the strongest visual features of this doll. The outfit is equally spectacular. Florentine wears a fitted cream brocade ensemble covered with intricate gold floral embroidery and colorful accents in pink, turquoise, green, and complementary tones. Small pearl-like beads and additional decorative embellishments are scattered throughout the fabric, giving the entire ensemble tremendous texture and visual interest. An oversized ivory faux-fur collar surrounds the neckline and shoulders, while matching faux-fur cuffs finish the long sleeves. The combination of the ornate brocade and sweeping fur trim gives Florentine a wonderfully opulent couture appearance. Her accessories include a gold-tone necklace and coordinating gold-tone earrings. White lace-up high-heel boots complete the ensemble, and the original-style Tonner display stand shown with the doll is included. The Tonner hang tag shown in the photographs is also included. Florentine has 9 Point Articulation, allowing movement at the head/neck, both shoulders, both elbows, both hips, and both knees. This gives collectors considerably more posing flexibility while preserving the elegant proportions of the original Tyler body. Produced in 2002, Florentine now qualifies as a vintage collectible under the 20-year standard. Her LE 1500 production, elaborate textile work, dramatic hair, and distinctive fur-trimmed ensemble make her an especially memorable early Tyler Wentworth release. This listing includes the Florentine doll, complete pictured outfit, faux-fur trimmed ensemble, necklace, earrings, white lace-up boots, Tonner hang tag, and display stand. Please review all published photographs carefully. They show the exact doll and all items included with this listing. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Tonner TylerMOSAIC MODERN SYDNEY’04TW2405 LE1500 16XlntUsedBoxesBeautiful
Tonner TylerMOSAIC MODERN SYDNEY 2004 is in excellent, used condition. One shoulder crack, see pic #12. No knee splits or cracks. According to Robert Tonner, the storyline reads. Color is always one of Tyler Wentworth’s strongest element, in her design compositions. For Sydney’s attendance at the newest modern art gallery opening, Tyler designed a colorfully festive mosaic ensemble of coat and jacket, in coordinating patterns and colors. Tyler often designs even the very fabrics she uses in such complex designs. She topped this outfit off with paisley embroidered accents on the dress, finely tailored lines, and fire engine red ankle boots. Of course, Sydney would be the center of the exhibit. AR Body (articulated body) – includes articulated movement at the elbows, neck, shoulders, side-to-side drop shoulder joint, twist waist, hips (hip joints are rotational ball joints) and knees. Includes original doll box and shipper. Sydney has been safe and dust-free, in the doll room. She has always been covered in her own individual display case. The doors to the doll room remain closed at all times, to keep out my curious feline. My home is non-smoking and cat friendly. She will arrive clean and safe. Thank you for visiting, and happy shopping!
