Tonner NYCB Dance Rehearsal Jac in Who's For Dinner with Moonlight pointe shoes
This is the 16 Tonner Tyler Wentworth NYCB doll Dance Rehearsal Jac. I call her Tuptim. She came to me in absolutely disgusting condition, with soiled tights and cat hair all over. I removed her original outfit (and washed it immediately), unstyled, shampooed, boil washed and trimmed her hair (just the longer wrap around pony piece), washed her face and body, and tried to address the scratch/ scuff on her left temple with a wet magic eraser (it’s still there, see last photo). She is sparsely rooted in the back, which I don’t mind, but if you do, I recommend an updo. She has no chips or cracks in her shoulder seams, but the seam itself seems to be coming apart on one side (she came to me this way). Tuptim is dressed in Who’s For Dinner? With Moonlight and Magnolia green pointe shoes. She wears the shoes to the outfit (presumably new, still in plastic bag). The outfit came to me used, with frayed hems here and there, and some loose threads, including the golden ones in the knit sleeves. The pantyhose have a run on one leg, and tufties here and there everywhere else. One of the leg warmers is a little loose and slides down if her legs aren’t bent. I own two Dalmatians, but they don’t play with the dolls, and I wash my hands with soap before I touch the dolls- every time.
