Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Florentine 16 Doll TW1201 2002
This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Florentine” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 1500 pieces. It features Tyler in a beautiful cream beaded brocade skirt suit, with a fur trimmed jacket. She has a crown of brown curls and white lace up heels. She does not have her rhinestone necklace. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. Her clothing shows no signs of damage or fading. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage and the label is missing. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials, adhesives or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.
