This is a Custom 16 tall doll of Debbie Harry, past and present lead singer of the legendary new wave group Blondie. This custom piece includes. 16 Deja Vu Tonner fully articulated doll body and resin Debbie Harry portrait head. Custom large black round base with U Shape support stand and Blondie logo. O utfit #1 – black faux leather pants, hand lettered yellow Andy Warhol BAD T-Shirt. Outfit #2 – nude tights, b lue checkered shirt/body suit, belt, r ed and purple jacket and skirt. Outfit #3 – magenta one piece jumpsuit. Outfit #4 – Red/white/blue Sailor Jumper. Pair of red shoes and pair of black strappy shoes compatible with all 4 outfits. Four sets of Tonner Deja Vu hands – standard, holding, graceful and fist – hands are easily removed/replaced by pulling out/pushing in. Sculpted hand held microphone that can be placed into the included holding hands. Colorful custom box with picture overlays and raised Blondie and Deborah Harry lettering. Maker’s signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity with hologram on the top of the box. Additional Tonner saddle style stand with smaller clear round display base – handy if display space is an issue. Custom made by a dedicated Debbie/Blondie fan. Smaller custom 10″ dolls by the same maker have been pictured in the Cathay Che Debbie Harry biography and also made an appearance in the 1999 “Blondie: Beneath The Bleach BBC video documentary, appearing roughly 35 minutes into the video (see last photo). Before the Blondie reunion in 1997, a half-a-dozen of the 10 dolls were made at Chris Stein’s request for Debbie and members of the soon-to-be-reunited group. Could the dolls have played a part in getting Blonde back together? Maybe not, but you never know!
