This is a simply beautiful Brenda Starr reporter/journalist doll from Robert Tonner. This doll is very difficult to find now, she is dated 2003 on her stamped head. The doll is simply beautiful, with beautifully hand-painted face details, and features a pencil perched in her hair bun with side twirls. The doll is dressed in a tweed skirt suit in very good condition. Her jacket is missing one button on the front and the ankle strap on one shoe has come loose. Apart from that she is in wonderful condition. The doll herself is in excellent condition without damage. Sadly she is without a box or certificate. This Robert Tonner Wizard of Oz Oz Gala Outfit is a rare and highly sought-after. With a stunning pastel brocade gown and bolero encrusted with pearls, beads and sequins. The full length gown of pastel brocade is strapless with pearls, sequins and beads on an overlay of laces on brocade that is labor intensive with a bolero that is long sleeved to a point at the wrist and lined in white with a big standup ruffled collar, matching beaded head piece, matching big necklace, gold ribboned staff and gold sparkly high heeled pumps, pantyhose. The set is designed for a 16-inch fashion doll and is perfect for celebrations or special occasions. The item is an original, licensed from 2005. The outfit is from the Wizard of Oz franchise, never been removed from the original box which has a little shelf wear and is part of the Robert Tonner product line. NRFB box has little shelf wear.

This is an outfit designed by Robert Tonner for his 16 Brenda Starr reporter from Dale Messicks comic strip from about the 1940’s character made in 2003 NRFB made of a sheer black fabric over black satiny bodice of incredible detail, Sheer long cuffed sleeves, drop shoulders and rushed satin all the way down to the knees where a generous ruffle begins, a rhinestone brooch on one shoulder, matches the earring and bracelet, sheer nude pantyhose, black scrappy high heels and to top it off a Chanel style wide brimmed hat! All in the original box that has some shelf wear.
