Tonner 16 Monica Merrill OOAK Repaint/new inset eyes/Costume by Kathleen Hill
Originally a Tonner 16″ Monica Merrill, I have reinvented her into the Victorian “Mylene (meaning’Dark’). She is dressed in an 1870’s Ball Gown, in shades of black, apricot, gold, copper, with apricot accents. The last photo shows her companion, (“Leora”, meaning’light’) in an additional listing. Auburn genuine mohair wig, in the 1870’s style. Original plastic eyes removed. Agate soft glass eyes were inserted, & applied upper eyelashes. Original factory paint removed, repainted, blushed, and sealed with Golden acrylics. Both original hands removed, and replaced with Deja Vu hands. Lace trimmed petticoat, bustle, pantaloons, and stockings. Black side button boots. Bustle skirt in lined apricot cotton, edged with satin pleats. Embroidered lace flounces in black, apricot, gold, & copper. Organza ribbon trims, with silk ribbon and fabric flowers. Matching overskirt with pleats. Lined bodice has a hand beaded embroidered applique, pleats, fabric flowers, and organza trim. Choker necklace, fan, lace gloves, and earrings. Feather and flower head adornment. Smoke and pet free home/studio.
