IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THE POLE IS A TAD TOO THIN FOR THE RUBBER PIECE THAT HOLDS IT IN THE BASE. THE SOLUTION I HAVE COME UP WITH IS A THIN PIECE OF SCOTCH TAPE WRAPPED AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE POLE. I FOUND IT TO ACTUALLY BE QUITE STURDY..
