This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Tyler Wentworth Bride” or “Fashion Show Finale” doll, released in 2001 as a limited edition of just 500 pieces. It features Tyler in an off the shoulder lace wedding dress, with a tiered skirt. It’s accessorized with a veil, bouquet of pink roses, white beaded necklace and strappy white heels.
