She is wearing a long black crepe evening gown featuring a trapeze neckline draped with blue and pink satin ribbons that are embroidered with bronze needlework and cabochons. Accessories include hair bow with feathers, long pink gloves, rhinestone stud earrings, black strappy shoes, underwear, nude hose and hairnet. It may have been removed from the box or displayed. I undid the ribbons to photograph. There is a tear in the left tissue flap that is documented in the photographs. Stand, wrist tag and original mailer are included. Theatre de la Mode was a collection of 27 mannequins dressed by French couturiers following World War II to promote their industry following the war. The originals collection is housed at the Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale, Washington. Robert Tonner has meticulously reproduced the original costumes for his Tyler Wentworth doll line.
