Tonner Tyler Wentworth 16 Firebird Sydney Chase Doll TW3202 2002 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s Sydney Chase doll, part of the Tyler Wentworth series, the flagship 16 doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Firebird” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 1500 pieces. It features Sydney in a rust red gown with gold macrame and highlights, with a bohemian brocade faux fur trimmed jacket She has a styled medium brown updo with beaded jewelry. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. She’s a very photogenic doll and I had fun taking pictures of her before I put her away.

Tonner Tyler Wentworth Sydney Chase in Striped Bikini and Heels with Box
Sydney Chase was used for display and it looks like she had some clothes changes. I say this because her body looks like it has seen some on and off wear on the arms and body. There is also a scratch on the neck from taking jewelry on and off. I only say that because I know some of you like your dolls in pristine condition even if it says used. The box is a from a Tyler Wentworth Super Stripes Doll but it is not original to this doll. She has the TW Swim Suit, heels hang tag and stand. The dolls eyes look like they may have been repainted. The doll features Mei Li head, Tyler Original/BA body, Pale skintone. The doll has painted eyes of brown color, rooted hair of jet black color, articulated at the elbow arms, articulated at the knee legs, high heel feet. NOTE: it doesn’t come with stand.

She was named “Something Sleek” (with blond hair) and her article number is 20800. She is 16 inches tall and comes in her original box with her original stand only. Her dress, sandals and underwear are not hers Probably are all from “All About Eve”. Underwear fits her very well, the lovely blue stripped tight dress is stretchy but probably long for her and is tight around her waist. Originally she came with a black swimsuit with white trim. She has articulated knees, and a gorgeous hand painted face with her lovely hair styled in a “sleek” high ponytail.
