Tonner Tyler 1/4 Holiday Gala Sydney Chase 16 Doll TW9215 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s Sydney Chase doll, part of the Tyler Wentworth series, the flagship 16 doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Holiday Gala” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 1000 pieces and a dealer exclusive. It features Sydney in a scarlet red ruched chiffon dress, with matching red heels and a rhinestone necklace. All pictures are of the actual item that you will be receiving, even the ones with her out of her box. She’s a very photogenic doll and I had fun taking pictures of her before I put her away.

You are purchasing a Tonner Tyler Wentworth WINTER FLAME SYDNEY CHASE 16 Fashion Doll, which appears to be in new condition. She is a limited edition of 300 from the 2006 North East Fashion Doll Convention. The COA is enclosed. She has red curly hair that is pulled into an updo. Her face and nail paint appear to be holding well. She is wearing a white and silver ball gown with a detailed beaded bodice and pleated skirt. Also included is a pair of silver strappy sandals, jewelry, and stand. The box is in good shape with shelf wear present. There is an indentation on the top of the box. The original owner’s name is written on the back of the box. My home is smoke free but I have a pet. I do my best to describe my items honestly and accurately.

No shoulder cracks or knee splits. Sydney comes with her original Tyler Wentworth doll stand, but no doll box. She is beautiful, with her gorgeous short blonde hair, in the original bob hairstyle. Blue side-glancing eyes, blonde hair and tan skintone. High Style Sydney Chase wears an irridescent blue fabric mermaid-style gown, with cut-outs showing her midriff. Her gown has long, fitted sleeves and matching blue sandals. Intricate three-strand silver tone necklace and drop earrings, complete Sydney’s beautiful evening ensemble. Sydney has been safe and dust-free, in the doll room. She has always been covered either in her own individual display case or clear plastic sleeve.
