Robert Tonner 16BRENDA STARR First Class Traveler Outfit NRFB VHTF
From Dale Messick’s Character Brenda Starr Reporter comic series in the newspaper depicting a 1940’s era, Robert Tonner designed Brenda Starr and her gorgeous clothes that are hard to find now and sought after. This one is a vintage designer style tailored suit jacket over a full silk maroon skirt to die for! The jacket is paneled beautifully in a tweedy grey and maroon with three buttons down the front and a little peplum at the waist, lined in white as is the full silk skirt, a dark grey full brimmed hat with maroon band, a maroon and grey clutch with matching suede like high heeled pumps with a grey bow, grey and red drop earrings. One of my favorite outfits recalling how well people dressed to travel back then. Original box has a little shelf wear.

Robert Tonner “Cynders” Cinderella LE 500 Re-Imagination Doll 2008. Overall, the doll is in great condition. She was only ever used as a display piece and never handled a lot or played with. She still has all her accessories and her stand. She comes with herself (the doll), her outfit, her necklace, her headpiece/headband, her tights, her gloves, her stand, and her shoes. She doesn’t have her original box. The stand does have some scratching on the shiny finish of the stand (this is due to the doll being moved on the stand and everything), but they are very hard to notice unless held up to the light. The heels of her tights have a small hole from the back of her shoes rubbing, but they are completely covered when you put her shoes on her. She does also have a small pin sized hole in her tights more towards her thigh area. Her shoes do seem to have some yellowing glue, and that seems to happen quite often with these types of shoes from Tonner. She doesn’t have any damage or staining. Robert Tonner’s stunning 16″ doll “You Are Ready, Sayuri” from the “Memoirs of a Geisha series, produced in 2006 based on the amazing book and then movie about a girl who becomes a Geisha (against her wishes), but becomes famous because of her beauty, skill, personality, and her blue eyes. One of 750 produced. NRFB (never removed from box) with the original shipper. She was only opened for photographs, but she is in all original packaging. Her shoes are traditionally platformed sandals and come with the socks that have the one toe joint. Amazing multi layered, beautifully designed costuming with the most beautiful colors and intricate embroidery. Of course, she comes with her doll stand and all accessories.
