Robert Tonner Limited Edition Ava Gardner Doll with her Additional Outfit – mint in boxes 2002. This limited edition Ava Gardner Doll was never out of her box. She is 14 inches tall. Her beautiful evening dress and accessories have also never been out of the box. They are from a smoke free home. Ava Gardner was our souvenir at the Region 8 conference in 2002 held in Greensboro, N C. She is #153 out of 260 dolls. She is dressed in a black lace corset and plastic high heels and she has diamond style earings and matching necklace in a bag. She is made of a vinyl plastic type material. Her other box contains her evening cocktail dress that is made of a shimmery black velveteen with an underskirt of ruffled black netting and a silk rose at the waist, black high heels, long black gloves and a beautiful black stiff netting picture hat with big black feathers adorning the middle and a hat pin with a red stone on the top. She comes with her certificate from Robert Tonner. She also comes with her stand and is ready to display. However, descriptions are to some extent interpretive. Raven non-removable wigged saran hair. Cream & coral jacket. Coral faux leather shoes. Glasses: black frames with clear lenses. They have been kept in perfect storage conditions, boxes and outfits are crispy mint. The outfits are called Midas Touch, Silver Shimmer and Velvet Dazzle. I consider boxes, liner and tissue as’free’ when purchasing a NRFB doll. While condition of these items are considered; it’s not factored into the cost of the doll and outfit.
