1997 First convention Llimited Edition Tonner 14 Betsy McCall Sailor doll for Modern Doll Convention. Very Hard to Find! SIGNED by ROBERT TONNER at this great convention in San Diego, 1997. Limited Edition of only 100 dolls. This is an early issue Betsy doll and like all the early dolls needed the rubber band stringing replaced. She was never displayed. I sent her to the Tonner factory hospital to have her. She came back strung perfectly tight using a strong stringing elastic cord (not rubber bands like before). She solidly holds her poses. Linda McCall Doll Travel Time Rare Robert Tonner Retired 2000 Betsy McCall’s
Betsy McCall’s Linda Doll Travel Time Rare Robert Tonner Retired 2000. From the rare Travel Time series from 2000 and is very hard to find this series is one of the hardest to find. She has her original box, hang tag and outfit, the camera is sealed in plastic. She is from my mothers estate and has been sitting in the box for years. She has the netting on her head. The stockings have some aging its common with the tonner stockings they age on their own however can display as is. She is still strung a little looseness which is a common McCall Tonner line however she is good to display as is its minor and is not falling apart. Her hang tag elastic has stretched and the hang tag has some crease marks. No holes or tears on the clothing. Nothing major on her. She actually does not look like she was displayed much her minor flaws are age related. The box has some damage from being stored. It has some scuffs/dings to the outer. Small edge crushes some soiling aging. The box has some bends/creases. Please note I stay on top of all tracking numbers and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in this frustrating situation. This little cutie is one of the very First Editions of Betsy McCall 8 Dolls by American Character and she will melt your heart! She is from childhood and still beautiful at 62 years old! Her white shoes are a bit dirty and she also has her Original Outfit, it is missing the slip underneath, her outfit is still crispy, her Onesie and her Original Booklet!! She will be a lovely addition to your Colle ction! This precious doll is in wonderful condition!! Her legs are a wobbly and she will most likely need a stand.
