Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Ready to Wear Sydney Blonde 16 Doll SIGNED
This is Tonner’s 16″ Sydney Chase doll, part of the Tyler Wentworth series, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. She uses the same body as Tyler, Suzette, Mei Li, Esme et al. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Ready to Wear” Sydney doll, TW0205, released in 2002. It features her in a baby blue lace lingerie body suit with fishnet stockings and matching strappy heels. The doll’s hair is neat and tidy. The packaging has some scuffs and minor wear. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials, adhesives or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.

Sparkling layered, pleated dark-red lace attached over-skirt with red rhinestones trim and sparkling sheer sashes. Two tiered lace overskirt is very full, short in front and long in back. Sewn-in Tonner Tyler Wentworth “TW” cloth label. New, just removed from dressed doll. Clean, smoke free, never displayed. Comes from a smoke free environment. I had bought this with intentions of using her as a model for 16 doll fashions but I’ve decided to leave her as found. Beautiful doll and fashions. Pink heels have some scuffs from being in storage.
