Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Party of the Season 16 Doll 99803 1999 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Party of the Season” doll, released in 1999 as a limited edition of 2500 pieces. It features Tyler in a striped spring green formal ensemble with gold lace overlay and trim. It’s accessorized by a rhinestone brooch and necklace, and strappy gold heels. I don’t believe she has ever been displayed. The doll’s hair is well styled and her clothing shows no signs of fading or damage. All pieces appear to be present. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage but is otherwise sturdy and in decent shape. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.

RARE Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Sketchbook Savvy 16 Doll Outfit TW9305 2003
Tonner has long been known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. Their outfits are the highest quality in design, material and construction. Tyler Wentworth was their most popular 16 fashion doll and has an extensive collection of clothing and accessories made of premium materials such as silk, linen and cashmere. This is the “Sketchbook Savvy” outfit, TW9305 released in 2003 as a convention exclusive at the New York Toy Fair. It’s a limited edition of just 750 pieces. It’s a casual knit ensemble, consisting of an embroidered skirt, top and cardigan with black heeled sandals. It’s accessorized by a wide brimmed black hat, stockings and a Tyler Wentworth bag. Outfit has never been removed from packaging. Clothing and accessories are complete and look clean and in new condition. Box has scuffs from storage. Some discoloration may be present on paper elements. Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.

She is wearing a white Mouseketeer shirt and a light blue pleated skirt. She also has white sheer socks, undies and black Mary Jane shoes. This giftset comes with 2 Outfits. A yellow and orange gown with a white collar and white beads. Minnie Mouse red dress with white polka dots and yellow ribbon sash, white petticoat, black tights and a red matching hair bow. 2 different pairs of yellow shoes. As an adult collector, my dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house. Betsy, her outfits, and the box are in. Is based on 2 lbs. This is the “Embassy Dinner” Mei Li doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 2000 pieces. It features Mei Li in a brilliant green and gold brocade peekaboo back dress accessorized with a rhinestone studded belt, beaded necklace, and simple black shoes. She has a very stylish and timeless straight black bob and an elegant face makeup suitable for any occasion.

1997 First convention Llimited Edition Tonner 14 Betsy McCall Sailor doll for Modern Doll Convention. Very Hard to Find! SIGNED by ROBERT TONNER at this great convention in San Diego, 1997. Limited Edition of only 100 dolls. She is clean and smoke free. This is an early issue Betsy doll and like all the early dolls needed the rubber band stringing replaced. I sent her to the Tonner factory hospital to have her. She came back strung perfectly tight using a strong stringing elastic cord (not rubber bands like before). She solidly holds her poses.
