OOAK Tonner Emilie Repaint Death Halo Repaints BIN Includes Outfit
Inspired by tarot, Death isn’t as creepy as it looks. In the cards, it represents endings, change, and transformation. I thought it was the perfect card to start the year off with. 16 Tonner vinyl doll. Former Ghost of Christmas Future Emilie LE 500. Complete repaint using acrylics and pastels, sealed in MSC. Eyes in forest and spring green. Eye make up “mask” in spring green. Glossy lips in brick red. Natural shading on face and chest. Light spray of freckles. Death tarot and Art Deco tattoo on chest. Original hair was taken down, washed, and straightened. She was then rooted with matching midnight layers. Her hair was braided and twisted around her face and. Blended and left long at the bottom. BIN Includes 20’s style black burnout velvet dress with chain straps. And gun metal earrings. I’ve been repainting dolls for over 20 years and have been featured in Haute Doll and FDQ. My technique involves mixing layers of ultra thin paint with pastels. And each doll usually takes 3-4 days to complete the face alone. A dressed doll can take a week to a month to finish, depending on the difficulty! These dolls are for collectors, not suitable for children.
