This item is a Deliciously Deco Renee 16 fashion doll outfit from Robert Tonner’s 2008 The Devereaux Sisters collection. The dressed doll was a Limited Edition of 200. The outfit has been displayed. The outfit is made to fit 16 Tonner fashion dolls with the Small Bust body. PLEASE NOTE: The shoes need some repair. A strap on one shoe needs to be re-glued. The glue in the shoes has yellowed, and this can be seen on the edges of the straps (see photos). I’m also listing other Tonner doll fashions and Tonner doll items this week. My home is smoke-free. Up for your consideration is a wonderful Louise Devereaux Doll produced in 2008 by the Robert Tonner Doll Company. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. I just have a cheesy little camera but, it does the best it can. These photos are darker than everything really is so, if you like what you see, you are going to be thrilled with what you get. This is a Basic Louise Devereaux Doll that was the first doll Tonner produced in the new Devereaux Line. I did display her for a short time but, she has mostly been in her box. Never undressed or even messed with, she is a wonderful doll. She is the basic 16 fashion doll but, has a slimmer body and, of course, a different face. Designed for that Roaring 1920’s period, my favorite time of history. This doll is brand new. She comes complete with her original outfit, box and shipper. And her stand is included. Everything she originally came with. I will be moving in with my daughter and we made an agreement that she would build me a nice “Mother’s place” but, I can only have as many dolls as will fit in my doll cabinets. So, some have to go. I have about a year so, that will give me enough time to find the perfect homes for them. I try to be truthful and tell you everything including the faults. This is Tonner’s 16 Renée Devereaux doll, part of the Devereaux Sisters series, a roaring 20’s/Great Gatsby inspired collection. It uses the same body dimensions as Tyler, their flagship 16/40cm/1/4 scale doll. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail until Tonner closed in 2018. Tyler and her cohorts set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits from the Tyler Wentworth series and any of those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Backstage Invitation” Renée Devereaux doll, released in 2010 as a limited edition of just 300 pieces. It features her in a sheer black silk chiffon dress, with knee high stockings and lace underwear underneath. The main attraction of this outfit is the decadent black velvet dressing gown, lined with pale satin and trimmed with black fur and macrame lace. It’s accessorized with a long black beaded necklace and period appropriate high heels. Renée has articulated wrists as well as elbows and knees, allowing for great poseability. The doll’s hair is neat and tidy, her clothing shows no signs of damage or fading. All pieces appear to be present. The box has some cosmetic damage to the surface from storage but is otherwise sturdy and in decent shape. Paper elements may have some discoloration. Some artificial materials, adhesives or elastics might have degraded over time but were not tested.
