The store owner moved to another state, closing her store and storing this gift set inside the original shipper it came in which has protected it VERY WELL; in a 100% smoke and pet free climate controlled area. This 8-inch African American girl doll, part of the Tiny Betsy McCall franchise, comes with a complete outfit wearing a peach colored ruffled and tiered long sleeved dress with faux pearl buttons and a bow in back, a beautiful lace hat with flower and ribbon accents, sparkly white tights, white panties and matching peach colored shoes with ankle straps, and even a white wicker Easter basket with multicolored eggs. The doll is made of hard plastic, is articulated, bends at the knees for posing and has wavy black hair and brown eyes that open and close. Tonner Tyler Wentworth 1/4 Pink Champagne 16 Doll TW1203 2002 SIGNED
This is Tonner’s 16″ Tyler Wentworth doll, the flagship 16″ doll which ran until Tonner closed in 2018. Tonner was known for designing high quality vinyl dolls, with a painstaking eye for detail. She set the standard for other 16 fashion dolls, with articulated elbows and knees and a wardrobe full of luxury fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere. Other 16 doll outfits such as those by the Franklin Mint, All About Eve, or Madame Alexander’s Alex should also fit her body sculpt. This is the “Pink Champagne” doll, released in 2002 as a limited edition of 2000 pieces. It features Tyler in a soft pink formal ensemble with a sparkly pink drape neck top and a long silk charmeuse mermaid skirt with matching heels.
